NEW COURSE: NEU 494 Research in Neuroscience
The Neuroscience Honors Thesis seminar is a two-semester required course that focuses on teaching best practices for development of an Honors Thesis in Neuroscience. In addition, this course provides an overview of neuroscience research methods, discussion of primary literature, and assistance with exploring postgraduate education and careers. Most importantly, how to prepare appropriate communication, documents, and create connections for a successful research project. Non-thesis students may still apply! Contact for details.

NEU 498: The Social Brain
This course examines how neural circuits are typically shaped to produce behavior and when neurodevelopmental disorders arise.
PSY/NEU 591: Neurobiology of Social Behavior
This course explores the primary literature to understand how complex neural circuits generate social behavior. Topics focus on neural development, endocrinology, neuroethology, and subcortical systems critical for survival.
